With Baselworld now just a distant memory, it is finally time to be able to showcase the latest Patek Philippe Baselworld 2017 timepieces in our Watches of Switzerland showrooms.
While many brands had teased news of their latest releases in the run-up to Baselworld, the Swiss master watchmakers kept quiet until the big day. Now, just a few months on from the world’s biggest watch and jewellery fair, we at Watches of Switzerland are proud to be able to showcase the latest timepieces with several Patek Philippe exhibitions taking place in our showrooms throughout July.
So, what can you expect to be on show at the exhibitions? At each of the exhibitions you will be able to peruse over 70 of the new timepieces to the Patek Philippe range. Below we highlight some of our stand out pieces from the this years collection…
Patek Philippe Skeleton Calatrava Ref. 5180/1R
This year Patek Philippe’s elegant 240 mechanism celebrates its 40th anniversary. The new rose gold Calatrava showcases the extremely rare craft of skeletonization with magnificent engravings adorning this iconic movement.
Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5320G
The Ref. 5320G Perpetual Calendar has been inspired by many predecessor models from the 1940s and 1950s. A perpetual calendar is a watch function which displays the day, date and month of the year. It automatically takes date variations such as leap years into account.
Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 6006G
Part of Patek Philippe’s iconic Calatrava range, the newly launched Ref.6006 Calatrava with distinctive sub seconds dial is testament to the fantastic 240 mechanism which lies beneath the dial. This year the calibre 240 celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Patek Philippe Grand Complications Ref. 7140G
Patek Philippe answers the ladies growing demand for complicated watches with the refreshed Ref.7140 now available in white gold this practically pretty design eliminates the need for correct as the clever mechanism automatically takes date variations such as leap years into account.
