Description

A 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three classic timepieces released in 1957, this Seamaster 300, limited to 3,557 pieces, is based on the CK2913 and retains the Naïad sign on the crown, which back in '57 was a mark of the watch's exceptional water resistance, as well as the 1957 Seahorse on the caseback.

In common with all three watches in the Trilogy, it is cased in brushed and polished stainless steel and features a black 'tropical' dial, with vintage indexes slightly deepened to allow filling with Super-LumiNova.

The stainless steel bracelet has been updated for strength and features a retro-style OMEGA logo on the clasp. It is powered by the Master Chronometer 8806.

Calibre Omega 8806: Self-winding movement with a Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring, automatic winding in both directions. Special luxury finish with rhodium-plated rotor and bridges with Geneva waves in arabesque.

FEATURES

Anti-Magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).

Automatic Watch: A self-winding watch or automatic watch uses a mechanical movement whose main spring is wound automatically by the natural motion of the wearer's arm.

Bi-directional Rotating Bezel: A bezel which can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise. Rotating bezels can be used to time events, measure elapsed times, or read second or third time zones.

Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).

Limited Edition (3,557): A series of watches whose production run is determined in advance of production and limited to a set number.

Master Chronometer Certified: Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Screw-In Crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.
