Breitling's 1950s-era SuperOcean dive watch was designed in response to the rise of professional and leisure scuba diving. In 1957, Breitling took the plunge into the undersea world with two pioneering dive watches called the SuperOcean the world's first dive chronograph. Today's Superocean Heritage combines vintage-inspired design cues with modern craftmanship, it features signature details like the iconic triangular-shaped hands and a unidirectional polished black ceramic bezel. Its tonal lacquered anthracite dial in subtle contrast to the black ceramic bezel creates an alluring play of light, adding depth and refinement to the design.
The Superocean Heritage B20 Automatic 42 features a robust stainless-steel case paired with an ultra-hard, scratch-and shock resistant black ceramic bezel. Its unidirectional rotating bezel includes a luminescent dot at 12 o'clock, a nod to the watch's origins as a dive watch and a functional tool for underwater timing. The anthracite dial is complemented by two strap options: a classic stainless steel mesh strap and a rubber strap that mimics the texture of the steel for a sportier look, both feature a folding clasp buckle.
