We are delighted to be joined by Sandrine Donguy, Product Marketing and Innovation Director at Vacheron Constantin to discuss this year’s new releases at Watches and Wonders. Sandrine shares what’s new from Vacheron Constantin, her favourite pieces and gives us an insight into what we can expect from the brand in the upcoming year.

What can you tell us about the new launches?

We have eight exciting new novelties this year. Key releases include a new mid-size dial on our Overseas collection, as well as a new grand complication called the “Dual Moon.” This is a unique complication that portrays creativity and technical excellence.

What is your favourite new release from this year?

My favourite piece from this year’s Watches and Wonders is the Tourbillion Retrograde Date. This is a marvellous piece in terms of techniques and creativity, as well as being an easily wearable watch, a perfect companion for the day or evening.

How would you describe Vacheron Constantin in three words?

Excellent high watchmaking - with a twist!

What can we expect from the brand in the upcoming year?

Vacheron Constantin is all about authenticity. As we move forward we want to ensure all of our timepieces are rooted in our DNA, but we’re also looking to develop creative ideas for our future generation of clients.

What timepiece are you wearing right now?

I’m wearing the Patrimony ladies 36.5mm with a beautiful gradient effect on its blue dial. It is a diamond set piece with an exchangeable strap system, perfect for a classic outfit. It is also very creative in terms of dial expression.

What is your holy grail watch?

My favourite watch from Vacheron Constantin is the American 21 with an off-centre dial. With over a 60-hour power reserve, it’s very rare in terms of design and is a piece that is eye-catching and distinctive. The perfect classic watch, with a twist.
