HOW TO GET TO BATTERSEA POWER STATION
Battersea Power Station is public transport destination and easily accessible via bus, tube, rail and boat. Below you will find more information about each option.

Travel by Uber River Bus
Operated by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers River Bus Services, on behalf of Transport for London, River Buses run between 23 piers from Putney to Woolwich.
It’s now never been easier to get into central London from Battersea Power Station – Hop on board and get to Embankment within 15 mins, Blackfriars within 20 mins and Canary Wharf within 40 mins.
Just as with buses and the Underground, you can use Oyster or any contactless payment card on the River Bus, or alternatively you can pay through the Uber app. You should always check the timetable when planning a River Bus journey as some services do not run all day or every day.
Travel by Tube
Battersea Power Station now has its own Zone 1 Underground station on the Northern Line. The station entrance/exit is situated on Battersea Park Road.
There are also a number of other London Underground stations within easy reach:
Sloane Square (Zone 1, Circle and District lines). A 12 minute walk via Ranelagh Gardens and Chelsea Bridge or a five minute bus ride on routes 452 and 137.
Victoria (Zone 1, Circle, District and Victoria lines). A 20 minute walk via Buckingham Palace Road, Ebury Bridge Road and Chelsea Bridge or a ten minute bus ride on route 44. Victoria is also a major railway terminus and bus station with a dedicated express service connecting to Gatwick Airport.
Vauxhall (Zones 1 and 2, Victoria line). A 20 minute walk via Nine Elms Lane or a five minute bus ride on routes 156, 344 and 436.
The nearest bus stop to the entrance at Pump House Lane is ‘Battersea Power Station’. The following buses serve this stop: 156, 344, 436. From here, cross the road to the entrance at Pump House Lane, and walk along the pedestrian route to Circus West Road (10 mins).
Travel by Taxi/Car
By taxi
Taxis should be directed to Pump House Lane which is the entry point for vehicular access for Battersea Power Station, security will direct them appropriately once they arrive.
Parking
Battersea Power Station has numerous public transport connections and we are keen to keep our carbon footprint down. So if you have to come by car, please be aware there is extremely limited carparking available at Circus West Village which must be booked in advance.
Travel by Bus
From Chelsea Bridge Road:
The nearest bus stop to our Grosvenor Arch entrance is ‘Battersea Park/ Chelsea Gate’. The following buses serve this stop: 44, 137, 452.
From here, walk down the steps on the south side of Chelsea Bridge and along the river walk to Circus West Village – Look out for the big ‘POWER’ art installation by Morag Myerscough.
From Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road):
The nearest bus stop to the entrance at Pump House Lane is ‘Battersea Power Station’. The following buses serve this stop: 156, 344, 436.
From here, cross the road to the entrance at Pump House Lane, and walk along the pedestrian route to Circus West Road (10 mins).
Travel by Bike
Travelling by bike is an excellent way to get to and from Battersea Power Station.
There is a Transport for London Cycle Hire stand (Santander Cycles) in Grosvenor Arch, named Battersea Power Station Battersea Park in the cycle scheme listings. There is another stand a few hundred metres away named Sopwith Way Battersea Park. Cycle hire users preferring to access the southern and eastern sides of the Battersea Power Station site will find three more stands in those areas in: Bradmead Battersea Park, Battersea Park Road Nine Elms and Riverlight South Nine Elms.
The locations and status of cycle hire stands (how many bikes and empty spaces are available) can be checked on the TfL website or by using the Santander Cycles app.
Travel by Train
Battersea Park Station is located just to the south of the Battersea Power Station site on Battersea Park Road, a ten minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road). Southern Rail services run be- tween Battersea Park and London Victoria, Streatham, Croydon and Sydenham and more.

Queenstown Road Station is located to the south of the Battersea Power Station site on Queenstown Road, a 15 minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road). South Western Railway services run between London Waterloo and stations to the south west.

Victoria Station, a major rail terminus and bus station with an express connection to Gatwick Airport, is within easy reach of Battersea Power Station. It is either a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride on the bus 44 from ‘Victoria Station’ bus stop.
